Welcome back, 2009-2010!

Dear members of the Dharma community and new students,

To the class of 2013, welcome to Harvard! For those of you who are returning students, welcome back! We hope you had a fantastic summer and are looking forward an exciting year ahead. Dharma, Harvard's Hindu Student Association raises awareness about Hinduism in the community and provides members with the opportunity to participate in Hindu festivals and traditions. With this in mind, we have some very exciting events planned for this year!

Through our events, we hope to foster a sense of community amongst our members. With events ranging from the traditional raas and garba dance, to pujas, Diwali celebrations, and henna study breaks, we not only want to practice what traditions Hinduism has established, but learn their origins, histories, and understand the deeper meanings behind our daily practices and annual rituals. We hope you'll join us in our discussions and events as we try to understand how Hinduism fits in and shapes our own individual lives on a daily basis.

Please join us in the following events planned for this semester:

Morning Meditation - Wed, Sept 2
Activities Fair - Wed, Sept 2
